The event included conversations about the future as well as music, culture and nature in a hopeful, playful and knowledgeable mix on the islands of Skeppsholmen and Kastellholmen in the middle of Stockholm. The initiative was created and organized by the Tällberg Foundation in cooperation with the City of Stockholm, the Municipality of Leksand, the Carpe Vitam Foundation and Fryshuset.
“One day for the future” was an open invitation to listen to and participate in seminars and talks on the great challenges of our time – from early morning to late at night. It offered a total of 60 talks and seminars in ten different locations on the islands. The topics of the seminars touched on many areas, including: the future of jobs, sustainability, energy, nature, the new economy, entrepreneurship, innovation, the new China, future cars, future technologies, Stockholm in the future, what kind of Sweden do we want? In addition, a number of cultural and music activities took place outdoors and indoors.
“One day for the future” was part of Tällberg Foundation’s continuous efforts to provide answers to the fundamental question “How on earth can we live together?”.
