Earlier this month Bo Ekman spoke at the IIASA Conference in Vienna.

IIASA, who did the first early work on climate studies in the 70's that led to the IPCC, held its annual global conference in November where the topic was Global Development: Science and Policies for the Future. Tossing aside his prepared remarks, Bo chose the moment to share his thoughts that summed up the experience of two full days of presentations on the state of the world through systems perspectives.
