Gunilla Carlsson addressed the Forum's the final session, twinning the themes of climate and development.

The Minister for International Development Cooperation announced that Sweden would launch a comprehensive new initiative in the autumn of 2008 that would unite these two most pressing areas of concern, adding a special cooperation with the Tällberg Foundation and other partners in the area of assessing risk reductation and adaptation.
