Ekman receives H.M.s medal
His Majesty Carl XVI Gustav, the King of Sweden, has bestowed on Bo Ekman, founder and chairman of Tällberg Foundation, the King’s Medal of the Twelfth Dimension.

His Majesty Carl XVI Gustav, the King of Sweden, has bestowed on Bo Ekman, founder and chairman of Tällberg Foundation, the King’s Medal of the Twelfth Dimension with Royal Blue Ribbon for “outstanding contributions in diverse sectors of Swedish society”.

H.M. The King’s Medal was created in 1814 and is presented by His Majesty Carl XVI Gustav to Swedish and foreign citizens for special merits as well as to officials of the Royal Court for long and faithful service.

“This is a well-deserved recognition of Bo’s steadfast dedication to the learning and doing that helps make the world a better place. Bo´s capacity to think out of the box and approach problem solving from a systems perspective is a true inspiration to others. For more than thirty years he has gathered people from all walks of life by organising conversations on aspects of the most basic and essential of questions: “How on Earth can we live together?”, says Anders Wijkman, vice chairman Tällberg Foundation.

The Tällberg team and extended network all join in celebrating this lifetime achievement and look forward to further adventures with Bo in the years ahead.

The Medal Ceremony took place at the Royal Palace in Stockholm, January 28, 2010.
