Given the ambitious title of Rework the World, the Leksand summit aimed to bring together the ideas of 1,700 young people from 120 countries with the policy-makers, investors and leaders who could bring them to fruition. Organised by the Swedish-based Tällberg Foundation and Youth Entrepreneurship and Sustainability (YES), the event was billed as a concerted attempt to get to grips with poverty and development after the collapse of the financial system.
