Beyond the annual Tällberg Forum
Through studies and dialogue we translate the analyses of emerging global patterns into inspiration for change. Beyond the annual Tällberg Forum, the Foundation is increasingly involved in organizing conferences, conversations, learning journeys, special studies and leadership development programs around the world.

Recently workshops have been organized in places like Stockholm, London, Brussels, New York, Washington DC, Cape Town, Pretoria, Alexandria, Dar Es Salaam and Moscow. Learning journeys have taken groups of leaders to Greenland. The “Tällberg Provocation: Grasping the climate crisis”, was published to coincide with the climate negotiation meeting in Poznan in December 2008 and the first in a series of Tällberg Papers was written by Anders Wijkman and Johan Rockström prior to COP15.  The learning/scenario project “Whence and Whither: Into uncharted waters”, in collaboration with the Stockholm Environment Institute, will comprise visions of new governance systems, idealized designs of how the complexity of a truly globalized and interdependent world could possibly be managed and will result in a report to be published in 2010.

The Tällberg Foundation in partnership with the global network of young leaders, YES Inc, has launched a very ambitious initiative called Rework the World. It builds towards the global YES summit in Sweden in June 2010 that will mobilize 2000 people from all over the world around promising efforts that drive sustainability and create jobs.
