June 24, 2009 - Tällberg Forum 2009.
The theme for Tällberg Forum is “converging crisis – diverging interests” and how we can overcome our individual priorities and see how crisis within different areas are connected with each other.

Sweden’s Minister of Integration and Gender Equality, Nyamko Sabuni and Gro Harlem Brundtland, who was previously Norway’s Prime Minister, are among the delegates.

Everything we produce and do is built taken from nature. Our dependence on each other is more important than ever. As a whole all crisis at present are linked. This year’s Forum will dissect the reasons and connections behind the crisis and also look at the direction and content a solution should have.

Soon there will be 9 billion people on the earth. Everyone wants prosperity and security to be better. However, although the crises are more intimately entwined the world is split by conflicts over economy, religion and national interests, says Bo Ekman, founder of the Tällberg Forum.

During the Forum five main areas will be looked at which are closely linked; economy, ecology, technology, learning and a new framework for international politics. In order to reach the right level for conversations at Tällberg Forum for the 29th consecutive year, we strive to collect together leading representatives from all these areas.
