The wide-ranging conversation covered a number of issues, and Hans-Olov gave a detailed inside account of the last four years in Volvo’s history – first the negotiations with today’s Chinese owners, and then the unique and exciting process of building a joint company. This has taken place in the context of the profound on-going transformation of China, with urbanization, the new middle-class and unparalleled investment-led growth as its main characteristics.
